Cascade outline: the university method, inside your sets
A title, then points that open level after level down to the fact to remember. Vesta now builds it from the section you are in.
The outline you draw in a notebook
Anyone who went to university knows the cascade outline: the title at the top, then points that step down like the index of a book, each under its parent. A few keywords and, after an arrow, the fact to remember: a date, a formula, a name.

Concepts or dates
Open a chapter of a set and choose Cascade outline: Vesta starts from the text of that section, so you do not have to write the topic. It only asks whether you want it by concepts, such as causes and definitions, or by dates, like a timeline.
Every line can be corrected by hand and you can add or remove points.
When it helps
When there is a lot to connect, as in history or biology. Read the chapter summary first, then open the outline and try to repeat the facts after each arrow without looking.
Where to find it
Inside sets, on the Pro plan. You print it on its own with the button at the top right of the outline, or together with the rest from the set's print menu.
